Company Background

Adair Fire Audits and Certification Pty Ltd originally operated for many years as a division of Adair Fire & Emergency Consultants Pty Ltd.

In early 2008, the decision was made to form a completely separate company, specifically dedicated to Fire Engineering with a focus on Building Code and Fire Safety Audits. Full operations as a separate entity began on the 1st July 2008.

Peter Sullivan

Peter was one of the original founders of Adair Fire & Emergency Consultants Pty Ltd.
He previously spent 20 years with Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting rising through the ranks including Station Officer, Commander and Unit Manager. Peter holds graduate membership of the prestigious Institution of Fire Engineers and is a Building Code Specialist.

Bringing a wealth of experience in Fire Safety and Engineering, he served for many years as a Consultant until it became more apparent to him that there was a growing need for addressing building safety standards as regards to emergencies.

Ken Bryant

Ken served with the NSW Fire Brigades (NSWFB) for almost 41 years retiring at the rank of Chief Superintendent. During most of the last 20 years of his service he rose through the ranks in the building fire safety area including approximately 3 years as Acting Assistant Commissioner of Community Safety.

For many years he represented the NSWFB on the Building Regulations Advisory Council which advises the Minister for Planning on the development of the Building Code of Australia. He also represented the Australasian Fire Authorities Council on the Building Codes Committee which is the technical body for the development of the Building Code.
